For our final assignment, we were to put together a slide deck filled with our memories of Sargent Park. Along with it, we had to make some type of creative writing like, poems, a short story, captions, etc.
For this assignment, we were given a day to take pictures at the skate park. Then, we chose 6 photos from that walk and did some post production on them.
For this assignment, we had to
take pictures of our subject posing in different parts of the room.
To make
this type of image, we first had to take pictures of the people/person in our
project without the background moving which is why we needed to use a tripod.
We then had to clean up our pictures. Then, select the images, go to Enhance and
press Photomerge Group Shot. Next, you take your pencil tool and draw on your
subject to transfer them onto the picture on the right side where everything
will go to. If you wanted to get rid of a body part of a person, you would use
the eraser tool and just simply click on the body part. Click done and make
sure to save it as a jpg so you can post it on your blogger.
For this project, we were taught how to use Photoshop to create a double exposure picture. Double exposure is the repeated exposure of a photographic plate or film to light, often producing ghost images.
We first played around with portraits of others and then our own.
This project was about Macro Photography. First, we took really close up pictures of things, did a Guess What? That's What, and then took pictures of objects that had tilt shift.
Here is my slide deck of Macro Photography. In this slide deck, it tells you what Macro Photography is and how to take macro pictures without really using an expensive lens for it. This also includes my macro pictures from class.
For this project, we had to make a 30 second ad that advertises an item in every day life. Our ad has to be exactly 30 seconds, nothing more and nothing less.
I used the Close Up, Medium Shot, POV, and Long Shot. I had a hard time filming a POV shot because when we were filming, the camera was covering the person's face/eyes and they couldn't see the ball coming, and a few times I had a hard time making sure it reached one minute. Other than that, it was okay throughout the whole thing.
Over the month of December, we were assigned to look for things that looked like letters. We had to find manmade and raw letters. We then created an Alphabet Book.
This project is about me. We took pictures of our faces in different locations and edited them in a creative way. This slide deck contains raw, edited and cropped images of me.
A
photo essay is an essay or short article consisting of text and numerous
photographs. In this project, we have to make a photo essay about
Sargent Park, talking about what the school means to us.
