Stopmotion by Dane, Emily, Eunice

In this assignment, we, once again, we were assigned to do a stop motion project. For our assignment, we decided to do a mindfulness topic. The steps we took to do our project were: first, taking many pictures to make a stop motion. We used a desk for the back round, asked one of our teachers for an old test as well for some sticky notes to cover the test with fixed mindset ideas. Next, we slowly removed the negative thoughts that we put on the test to change it to a growth mindset. Once we finished taking the pictures, we moved to a computer to edit them to make them as perfect as we can. We then picked a song for the back round, matched the song to the photos, added the title and credited ourselves to our project.

Eunice's Macro Photography

This is my Macro Photography project. The first thing we did for this project was go on the internet to see what macro photography is. This project required us to take a picture of an object really close up so that the object seems larger. We were told that we had to have two tilt shifts, and five guess whats. So we went around the school to look for interesting objects to take a picture of and this is what I did:

Eunice's Magazine Cover

For my magazine assignment I decided to start off by brainstorming all the things I wanted to be on the cover. Next, I did a rough sketch on a piece of paper to see how all of my components would fit together. After I went onto the computer to to pick out the right background for my cover. Then I had Emily to take a portrait picture of me and took that picture and put into the computer.

The first thing I did the the picture was get rid of all the background and i enhanced my photo by playing aroung with the colours. Then I went to dafont.com to pick out fonts the will compliment my cover. I pressed the print screen botton and then transfered it into photoshop. After getting rid off all the white space I place the word as to where I wanted it in the cover. The last thing I did was put a barcode and the price of the magazine.

I decided to make a second magazine for fun and for marks. I went on Google and searched for magazine covers to get an inspiration. I chose one that I liked the most so that it would be more enjoyable to re create. The process of this magazine was quicker than my first magazine cover because of the way I had accomplished it. The way I did my second magazine cover was:
Step 1- I made the backgound similar to the original by making a white rectangle shape at the top
Step 2- I took the pictures needed for my cover
Step 3- I got rid of all the background space and placed the photo into photoshop
Step 4- To create the effect of the rips I used the brush tool
Step 5- I went to dafont.com and print screened all the the words I needed for my cover
Step 6- I place each word into photo shop and tried to make it complement each other
Step 7- Lastly I plave the barcode

Eunice's Movie Poster

For our movie poster assignment themed Sargent Park I decided to replicate the repentance movie poster. At first I took pictures of the people who are going to be in the poster. To make editing easier, I made them stand in front of a green screen. I then took those pictures to adobe Photoshop and each picture was edited separately. Individually the pictures were edited so that it is black and white, and given the effect of bold and dark with brushes that was designed to look like dust and also some water paint brushes to make is look like it is been foggy. After I have edited all the pictures I then put all the images in one document. I imitated the rips on the original poster to my own to make it more alike. After I added a whitish-yellow colour to my rips to make is more convincing. Adding on I painted the background the same or closest colour as that of the original. Lastly put the title and the names of the people in the images.

Eunice's Instagram Assignment

This winter break we had to do the alphabet challenge as an assignment. In this assignment we had to find natural letters that is around in our everyday life and man made letters too. I found it quite fun to do and an actually challenge to find all the letters especially "Q". I struggled with some letters but this assignment has made me look what is around me and see thing i would have just dismissed.

Eunice's Photoshop Assignment

Before

After

For this assignment i have chosen to do a reflected photo and made it seem as if it was a painting. To achieve this I started off by adding a layer and placing my photo in. Then I used the lasso tool to outline the mountain in the picture and deleted the everything else except the mountain. After I clicked the "filter" then "Artistic" found in the top bar. You can choose which ever style you would like you own photo to be. I had chosen the "Film Grain" to complement my image. Once I had chosen my style, on the left there will be a bar where you had the option to change the brush size an sharpness of the image. Moving on I then duplicated my slide which contained the edited mountain, on the duplicated slide I rotated it to a 180 degree angle and flipped I horizontally by right clicking the mouse and lined the image where the reflection line would be. Now on to the background. The background is quite easy to obtain. First I went to the background layer. All I really had to do is go to the brush tool and chose which brush style and color to do and added it to the picture. The more I clicked the darker the color became making it look much prettier that just having the plain solid colored background.
